Ultra-Thin, High-Performance Surfaces for Modern Homes
Porcelain worktops are made from a blend of natural raw materials, including clays and minerals, fired at extremely high temperatures. The result is a dense, non-porous surface that is incredibly hard-wearing, heat-proof, and stain-resistant — perfect for both kitchens and bathrooms.
We are approved fabricators of porcelain brands including Dekton, Neolith and Caesarstone Porcelain, offering a huge range of finishes from sleek modern tones to natural-stone effects, in a variety of finishes.
Natural minerals are compacted under extreme pressure and fired in a kiln at over 1200°C. This creates an ultra-thin, lightweight slab with exceptional performance properties.
Highly Durable: Resistant to scratches, stains, and impacts.
Heat & UV Resistant: Ideal for indoor and outdoor use.
Non-Porous & Hygienic: No sealing required.
Wide Design Range: Mimics marble, granite, concrete, or minimalist styles.
Versatile Applications: Perfect for kitchens, bathrooms, and even wall cladding.
Higher Cost: Use trivets for very hot pans.
Professional Installation Essential: Due to the ultra-thin profile.
Largely made from natural materials and fully recyclable at the end of its life; long lifespan reduces environmental impact.
From our Surrey base, Elliott Stone Works supplies and fits porcelain worktops for homes across Surrey, London, and the South East. Whether for a family kitchen, luxury bathroom vanity, or bespoke wall feature, we deliver precision and elegance.
Our porcelain and sintered stone ranges come in a wide choice of colours and finishes, with thicknesses typically in 12mm or 20mm. These surfaces can also be mitred to create the appearance of a thicker worktop. Samples are available on request to help you find the right style for your project.
Porcelain and sintered stone surfaces (such as Dekton and Caesarstone porcelain) are ultra-durable, highly resistant to stains, scratches, and heat – making them ideal for modern kitchens and bathrooms. They are also non-porous, which means they require very little maintenance.
Daily Cleaning
Wipe with a soft cloth or sponge and warm water.
For stubborn marks, use a mild dish soap or a non-abrasive surface cleaner.
Abrasive pads are not necessary and may dull the surface over time.
Dealing with Spills
Spills will not soak in, but it’s still best to wipe them away promptly.
For dried-on residues, gently rub with warm water and a mild cleaner such as fairy.
What to Avoid
Avoid bleach, oven cleaners, or highly acidic/alkaline chemicals – these are unnecessary and may damage the surface treatment.
Do not use waxes or polishes – they will not penetrate or enhance porcelain or sintered stone.
While heat-resistant, it’s still best to use trivets or mats under very hot pots or pans to avoid thermal stress.
Always use a chopping board instead of cutting directly on the surface.
Long-Term Maintenance
Porcelain and sintered stone surfaces do not need sealing or polishing.
A periodic clean with a pH-neutral cleaner will keep the surface looking pristine.
So happy with Chris, the team, and our new worktop! Expertly fitted. Really friendly, flexible and knowledgeable. We had a small issue with the splashback (not of Elliott Stone Works doing) and yet without question Chris provided several options and set them all out for us so we could agree a way forward. Can’t recommend them highly enough.
